Terms of Use
Last updated: 10 October 2026.
1. What this is
Simple Worship Presenter is independent, browser-based worship presentation software created and maintained by Alexander Wasson at alexanderwasson.dev. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a reproduction of any other presentation product.
2. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and only with content you own or are licensed to use. Do not use it to distribute unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful material, or to attempt to gain access to other people's accounts or data.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the presentations, lyrics, media and other material you add. You grant only the limited permission required to store and display that material back to you and to the people you authorise. You are responsible for copyright, licensing, privacy, accessibility and other permissions relating to your content.
4. Song lyrics, scripture and CCLI
The software does not ship copyrighted song lyrics or Bible translations. If you hold a CCLI or similar licence, you are responsible for operating within its terms and for recording your licence details accurately.
5. AI disclosure
Parts of this software were produced using AI-assisted development and reviewed by a human before release. That applies to source code and interface copy. AI is not used to generate, review or store your worship content. AI-generated output is not a guarantee of originality or legal clearance; review your content before presenting it.
6. Hosted accounts and storage
Hosted accounts include a storage allowance (250 MB unless an administrator sets another limit). Keep your own copy of anything important. The hosted service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability.
7. Self-hosted installations
You may install and operate the software on your own systems without a licence key, subscription, or account with us. The instance operator is responsible for their own server, backups, configuration, user accounts and lawful use.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Report suspected vulnerabilities to the site owner rather than publishing them before a fix is available.
9. Availability and liability
The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for damages arising from use of the software, including lost data or interrupted services.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
